ukiptthumb.JPGThe inaugural UKIPT online main event final table is set. After two days of online combat we have eight players remaining who will have to jet into Bristol, United Kingdom from as far away as Uruguay and Russia. Although the chip leader zugzwang16 is a phenomenal player in his own right having finished third to Faraz Jaka in a €2,100 SCOOP-H event earlier this year for $94,940, most eyes will be online legend Chris 'Moorman1' Moorman, a former online number one with $8,356,760.37 recorded online tournaments winnings.

Chris 'Moorman1' Moorman

Although Moorman has $2,700,162 in live tournament winnings he's yet to score a title with just one live win on his CV: a €2,000 side event at EPT8 Madrid for €21,050. Will this November be where Moorman finally binks some silverware?

All eight players who made the final eight also receive a UKIPT Bristol package (this includes £770 tournament entry, hotel accommodation and £130 spending money) and an additional £300 for travel costs to play the final table at UKIPT Bristol which will play out live on the evening of 7 November.

The fall of Ferguson

Andrew 'FDSaussure' Ferguson was the unlucky player to bounce out in ninth to bubble the final table when his kings were carcked all-in pre-flop for a million chip pot against piper_kl88. Somewhat brutally the ace caught the turn of a [4s][4d][7d][ah][7c] board. It didn't even have the decency to be give Ferguson a diamond re-draw to the nut flush. Ferguson, who collected £4,930.80 for ninth, lasted marginally longer than European Players Council member Dominik Nitsche who bust in 10th and Jon 'apestyles' Van Fleet who was the first to go in Day 2 busting in 24th.
