The UK & Ireland Poker Tour revolutionized live tournament poker in the region. Now, for the first time in its three-season history, the UKIPT will take its action online and open it up to millions of people around the world.
But there's a catch. This tournament will test both your online skills and your live chops. If you play through the two days of the online event and make the final table, you'll need to make it to Bristol in November to fight for the championship. Here's how it works.
This Sunday at 16:00 UK Time (09:00 ET) , the UKIPT will host a £250,000 guaranteed event online. The £700+£35 buy-in event will get you 10,000 in starting chips and 20 minute online levels at 8-max tables. Day 1 will last 22 levels, and then play will resume on Monday at 19:00 UK Time (14:00 ET) to play to the eight-handed final table.
If you make it that far, you'll be headed to Bristol for a chance at two championships. Your final table appearance in the UKIPT online will earn you a full UKIPT Bristol prize package. So, when you go to Bristol to play the UKIPT Online final table, you will get to play UKIPT Bristol, too!
