The World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) will be back, bigger and better, in 2019.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year…for online poker players, anyway.
Today we can reveal the dates for the 2019 WCOOP, so you better mark them on the calendar. You’ll need a big, thick Sharpie though, because you’ll be blocking out 20 days in the diary.
Tournaments will kick off on September 5 and run until September 25, when the $5,200 WCOOP Main Event concludes. Arguably the most prestigious online poker series, there’s going to be almost three weeks of jam-packed poker, enormous prize pools, and tournament variations for all tastes.
We can’t wait.
Online qualifiers will begin to run on PokerStars from August 19. They’ll be worth checking out, as this year’s Main Event comes with both a Low and High tier.
That’s all the info we have for you now, but stay tuned for more over the coming weeks.
